Assemble + Co started with a simple idea—architecture should do more than just fill space. It should create places that feel good to be in, places that bring people together, and places where life happens.
For Brett and Whitney Davidson, design has always been about more than just buildings. It’s about the way a space makes you feel, the memories made there, and the connection between past, present, and future. Whether it’s restoring a historic structure or designing something brand new, they approach every project with thoughtfulness, creativity, and a respect for what came before.
New Braunfels isn’t just where they work—it’s home. It’s where their family has grown, where they’ve spent years exploring the balance between tradition and fresh ideas, and where they’re invested in shaping what’s next.
This is Assemble + Co—where great design isn’t just about what you build. It’s about what you create, and what you leave behind.

How does a native Texan of the Rio Grande Valley and honorary Missourian, with a passion for diverse architectural expressions, find himself shaping award-winning spaces in New Braunfels, Texas? The same individual who, as a child, was captivated by his grandpa’s masonry work in rural Missouri, unaware that this fascination would evolve into a celebrated career. A career that, rather than following a predetermined path, unfolded through a commitment to comprehensive design and construction, guided by a belief that: Architecture is the thoughtful making of space and place.
This philosophy has led him to explore a multitude of project typologies, from custom residences to dynamic mixed-use developments. His journey through full-concept design/build projects has honed his ability to see a project from conception through construction, ensuring that each space is both functional and inspiring. His work has not only garnered national and regional awards but has also been featured in international architectural publications, reflecting a dedication to excellence and innovation.
For the past 15 years, he and his family have called New Braunfels home, relishing the simple joys of swimming in the local rivers during the warm Texas summers.
